Design of the Month Rules

CUSTOM ENVY "DESIGN OF THE MONTH" CONTEST — OFFICIAL RULES

1. SPONSOR This contest ("Contest") is sponsored by Custom Envy, located in Columbus, OH ("Sponsor").

2. ELIGIBILITY The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States and its territories who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor and their immediate family members are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

3. HOW TO ENTER To enter, you must: (a) have made a purchase from Custom Envy (customenvy.com); (b) visit customenvy.com/pages/design-of-the-month; (c) complete the submission form including uploading at least one (1) original photograph of yourself with your Custom Envy product; (d) answer all required questionnaire fields; and (e) agree to these Official Rules by checking the consent box.

4. ENTRY PERIOD The Contest operates on a rolling monthly basis. Entries submitted between the 1st and last day of each calendar month will be considered for that month's Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Contest at any time.

5. ENTRY LIMITS Entrants may submit one (1) entry per order number. Multiple entries using different order numbers are permitted. Duplicate entries (same email and order number) will be rejected.

6. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Photos must show the entrant with their Custom Envy product.
  • Photos must be original and taken by or on behalf of the entrant.
  • Entrants must have permission from all individuals depicted in submitted photos.
  • Submissions must not contain content that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
  • Submissions must not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.
  • Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet these requirements.

7. WINNER SELECTION Winners are selected by Sponsor's editorial team based on the following criteria: (a) emotional impact of the story; (b) photo quality and creativity; (c) design originality; and (d) overall suitability for marketing use. This is a contest of skill — winners are NOT selected at random. Sponsor's decisions are final and binding.

 

Three (3) winners will be selected each month:

  • First Place
  • Second Place
  • Third Place

Winners will be announced within the first ten (10) days of the month following the entry period.

 

8. PRIZES

  • First Place: One (1) Custom Envy gift card valued at $100.00 USD
  • Second Place: One (1) Custom Envy gift card valued at $50.00 USD
  • Third Place: One (1) Custom Envy gift card valued at $25.00 USD

Total approximate retail value of all monthly prizes: $175.00 USD. Gift cards will be delivered via email to the address provided in the entry form. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

 

9. WINNER NOTIFICATION Winners will be notified via email at the address provided in their entry form. If a winner does not respond within seven (7) days of notification, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. Sponsor is not responsible for undelivered or misdirected email.

10. LICENSE GRANT By submitting an entry, you grant Custom Envy a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, distribute, and create derivative works from your submitted photo(s) and story text for any purpose, including but not limited to: website content, social media posts, email marketing, digital and print advertising, and promotional materials. You will be credited by first name when reasonably practicable but Sponsor is not obligated to provide attribution.

You represent and warrant that: (a) you are the sole author and owner of your submission; (b) your submission does not violate any third party's rights; and (c) all individuals depicted in your submission have consented to the use described herein.

11. PRIVACY Personal information collected through the Contest will be used in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy (customenvy.com/policies/privacy-policy). Entry information may be used for Contest administration, prize fulfillment, and marketing purposes as described in Section 10.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY Sponsor is not responsible for: (a) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, or incomplete entries; (b) any technical malfunctions, errors, or failures; (c) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process; or (d) any injury or damage resulting from participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of any prize.

13. GENERAL CONDITIONS Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Contest. By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.

14. GOVERNING LAW This Contest shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles.
